10/30/2006 1:51:49 PM I am recalling Star Wars through the lense of an excited 11 year old. I can remeber how amazed I was and how much I enjoyed it. As an adult, I haven't gone back and watched it again, mainly because I'm afraid I will ruin the memory. As to the new ones... Phantom SUCKED, Clones was a little better, and Revenge was at least watchable. But no amount of special effects can make up for threadbare characters, a minimizing and reduction of the Star Wars world, and the awful, awful, awful acting of Hayden Christensen. |
11/12/2006 2:20:04 PM The first (as in the first one made) is still the best. That was back when Lucas could tell a story and wasn't relying on computer trickery to prop up his crappy script and plot. |

5/24/2007 2:36:19 AM The Empire Strikes Back was definetly the best Star Wars Movie. Empire was made better that all the rest, and the story line was the best. The special effects were spectacular. As a matter of fact, I like the original trilogy much more than the second. It just seemed like there something missing from the new trilogy. I think I missed the original characters. The acting in the first trilogy was also much better, and the characters seemed much more believable. |

7/11/2007 9:32:45 PM the PHANTOM MENACE is the best one of all! there are many reason why. 1) it has darth maul the coolest SW villlian. 2) qui gon and obi wan make a great team. 3) we get to see what darth vader was like before he turned evil. 4) it has the best lightsaber duel. 5) the podrace!! , and ITS WAY BETTER THAN THE OLD TRILOGY |
