Who is your favorite Star Trek Captain?

If all the Star Trek Captains were to duke it out in a no-holds-barred bare knuckle match, who would be the winner?

I have to go with the original. Although in retrospect the show is pretty corny, the sets awful, and the music worse, it's still the Star Trek I grew up with.

Although rather an unpopular opinion I'm sure Archer would win for one reason. The man has the help of the "federation" agents of the temperal cold war. He would win.

Kirk was the man!

The Kirk double fisted chop to the back is the clear winner!

Kirk was often obnoxious, but he is THE Star Trek captain. Had high hopes for Benjamin Sisko based on the Deep Space pilot, but thought he faded away after that. I would vote for Sisko in the match - cool head plus physique.

During a lull in the fighting here in Iraq, we entertained this very question, my squad agreed we would follow Captain Janeway to hell and back. Militarily, she is both a thoughtful strategist and a very capability tactician, as well as a compassionate, determined, and forceful leader.

Captain Kirk for favorite but Sisko in a fight any day

Janeway just rocks!

Janeway is easily the toughest and has taken on the toughest baddies, Hirogens, 8472, Borg etc. Never beaten and still got home!
